[Frank appears onscreen, totally loaded down with a variety of costumes and knickknacks...a leather vest, pantaloons and tights, a hat with a big floofy feather, a plastic sword sheathed at the waist, and a whip over one shoulder. He looks immensely excited.]

Frank: Hey! Hey guys, guess what! I saved up enough stickers on my chore chart that Dr. Forrester said I can go out on an ADVENTURE! I’ve always wanted to go on one, and now’s my chance! I’m all packed with my treasure map and my ninja stars and my eight-sided dice tucked into my pockets on the side I always fall on when I trip! I’ll be welcome in the halls of the dwarven lords and in the trees of the Keebler elves for sure!

Well, don’t wait up for me! I’ll share photos when I get back!

[With that, Frank goes skipping off, humming some song to himself. After awhile, Dr. Forrester sidles up to the camera, glancing in the direction that Frank left.]

Dr. F: Well, that should keep Frank occupied until I figure out how much I should siphon from his paycheck this week. Although I’ll probably just go for my usual of all of it.

OH right, your experiment this week! It’s the first chapter of a very well-received fantasy epic called Touched By Venom! From my understanding, it is alll about pain! Bloody, ritualistic, rather unnecessary pain...my favorite kind! Here’s hoping that you get touched by venom’s pain, too!

Get ready, SOL inhabitants...it looks like it’s going to be a busy week for you! Twelve characters, whether they are human or not, will wake up on the new week discovering they are wearing one of six different shirts. The shirts are as follows:

Red Jaguars
Blue Barracudas
Green Monkeys
Orange Iguanas
Purple Parrots
Silver Snakes

Anyone hoping to get rid of the outfit will discover that their wardrobe is filled with nothing but those same shirts. To that end, it’s a good idea to find out who else on the SOL is wearing the same shirt as you, as they are now your teammate! Characters with shirts will also receive notes on their bedside table asking them to assemble their teams on Deck 5, which has now radically changed. From this point on, for the remainder of the event, no character can access any decks below Deck 4.

Once down on Deck 5, characters will discover the Recreation Deck has been replaced with a long moat, and then a set of large stairs. Once all teams are assembled, Mike and Tom will show up and explain the game...

(This event is opt-in...if you want your character to participate in the Legends of the Hidden Temple game, just head on over to the OOC sign-up page above! You can ask for a specific team, but you may or may not get it! More info on this “game” will be posted ICly and OOCly as the event progresses through the week. Whichever team wins the game will be getting a prize, and may boost morale points a lot!)
