Hiatus List

This is where you go to call hiatus. As a rule hiatuses can be given up to a month. If a very long absence is expected it might be best for all to drop and reapply for your characters when you are able to return. If you know you're going to be away for longer than a month and you still want to hold onto your characters, just e-mail or IM the mods and we can work something out.

Please note that as of the posting of this entry, if you have been inactive for a while (more than a week) and you call a hiatus, your time inactive will count toward the one-month hiatus. In other words, if you call a hiatus today and your last thread was three weeks ago, we can give you a week-long hiatus before we ask you to return. We're always willing to make exceptions for extenuating circumstances, though--just IM or e-mail the mods and we'll work something out.

If you're on hiatus you're exempt from activity checks.

To call a hiatus, just copy and paste the form below into a comment and fill it out:

When returning from hiatus, reply to your original comment saying that you're back. For the sake of your mods' sanity please don't neglect this important step. ;) You might also want to post going away/coming back notices on the OOC board, but that's up to you.
